Tenants splash out for charity!
Jennings tenants and staff took part in The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper’s popular annual Dragon Boat Day fund raising event, and raised around £1,600 for charity between them. Eighteen teams took part in the river races along the Thames at Rye Meadow.
Monument Park entered a team of 20, made up of six staff from Jennings plus staff from tenant companies PSP, Rayon, Root 4, Excel Packaging, Pinpoint, Pikehaven, and Euro Controls.
Donna McKnight, senior receptionist at Monument Park says: “We managed to raise around £1600 of which a third goes to The Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper for their chosen charities. Kerri from Excel Packaging raised £200 for her local playgroup and the remaining £1,000 or so will go to our main chosen charity, Sobell House. The sun shone all day, we had a fantastic time and hope to make entering an annual thing for Monument Park.”
