Community & values
Our values
Over the years, we’ve developed core values & we use them in our business every day with everyone we deal with; our tenants, suppliers, contractors, networking contacts, associates, partners & professionals.
- Open & honest
- Fair & reasonable
- Accommodating & courteous
- Committed to the people we work with & build real relationships based on trust
Us in the community
Sometimes it can be simple things like asking local school children to come & sing carols to our tenants at Christmas. Other times it can be more involved, like organising an area-wide new business competition.
Being part of the local community is central to what we do. After all, we’re a family run business who have been in South Oxfordshire for over 80 years. Without mutual respect and appreciation of the people around us we probably wouldn’t still be here!
Charities
From coffee mornings to abseiling and Dragon Boat Racing to setting up a Virtual Sports Club, it’s important to us that we do what we can to raise money and give something back.
A few years ago we set up the Monument Community Trust to offer mentoring & support to local charities and to help administer donations we’ve raised.
Here’s a few of the people we’ve been involved with:
